1.0.2 Cab File installer Release
HPC2000 binary
Changes
- New installer cab file.
- No separate resource files needed. Resource files are embedded into cab installer.
- Fixed Autorun timing incorrect on first setup.
- ARM cabfile
For HP Jornada 720/728/820
- MIPS cabfile
For NEC MobilePro 790
Contains resource files “buddhavacana.pdb”, “dbv.wav” and “dbv.dat”.
Installation Notes
- Download dbvhpc2k.zip to your PC.
- Extract the corresponding cabfile for your HandheldPC as stated above.
- Copy the cabfile to your HandheldPC through a CF card or ActiveSync.
- Disconnect your HandheldPC from your desktop PC.If installing via CF card, insert CF card into HandheldPC.
- On your HandheldPC itself, locate the cabfile and open/execute it to start the installer.
If you want to retain the cabfile after installation, make a copy of it before installing or modify it to be “Read-Only”.

MFC Win CE Redistributable for HPCPro
1. Allow DBVHPC to run on HPC2000 devices
Note
The current package 1.0.1 was built for HPC/Pro (wince2.11) devices and works with HPC2000 devices that has the wince2.11 mfc runtime redistributable libraries.
Users who are having problems with running DBVHPC on their HPC2000 devices, may download this file and copy the appropriate dlls for their device into \windows folder.

Beta Release of DBV for HandheldPC 0.3

UPDATE
1. AutoRun is enabled for HPCPro devices (WinCE 2.11)
Testing done on IBM z50 by Chris Tilley
DBVHPC should be ready for RC if there are no bugs found.

Beta Release of DBV for HandheldPC 0.2b

UPDATE
1. Settings dialog
1.1 Chime on/off option
1.2 Autorun option /w time schedule
SETTINGS
1. On first run, the “Settings” dialog will be shown to allow user to configure settings.
2. Closing the “Settings dialog will save the settings to a binary config file in the same directory as DBVHPC.
3. For subsequent runs, dbvhpc.exe will read from the settings file automatically.
CHIME
1. Chime option will determine if the bell chime is heard when DBVHPC is run.
2. This requires the file dbv.wav to be stored in the same directory as DBVHPC.
AUTORUN
1. This feature is currently supported on all HPC2000 devices (WinCE3.0).
2. Support on HPCPro devices (WinCE2.11) are not known and untested.
